CONGRATULATIONS
EMILY P. YASINSKY
Emily P. Yasinsky of Butler recently graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville with a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in Communication and Psychology.
While on campus, she was a member of the Lambda Sigma sophomore honor society, served as a student writing consultant and teaching assistant, appeared in several productions with the Allegheny College Playshop Theatre and Student Experimental Theatre groups, and was designated a Distinguished Alden Scholar.
Her senior thesis Stones in October: A Film was cited with departmental honors and she received the Philo-Franklin Oration Prize for outstanding achievement in the field of speech communications.
A 2017 graduate of Butler Area Senior High School, Emily is the daughter of Donald and Laura Yasinsky of Butler.
