My Life
(According to a Piano)
There are certain "keys" to my life
That have surely "struck the right chord"
And on a "scale" of one to ninety
"88" would sit closest to "the board"
I will omit the "sour note" occurrences
Where an "encore" was apparently not
So I'll proceed in "quarter note" fashion
And "press on" with a more positive thought
Like a "tone" more pleasing to the ear
That would "transpose" and changed my life
But not without the "accompaniment" of friends
Who had assisted me in times of my strife
So I won't deny my years of existence
Didn't come without the "sharps and the flats"
So sufficed to say those "arpeggios"
Were the right "rhythms" I'd need for the stats
