JAMES (JIM) AND MARY ANN (GAZVODA) ANWEILER
James (Jim) and Mary Ann (Gazvoda) Anweiler, of East Pittsburgh, celebrated their 53th anniversary on December 28, 2021, with a celebration with family in Hilton Head, S.C. So how does a fellow from Turtle Creek meet a girl from Canonsburg. We know they met at the "Cowshed" in Conauet Lake in 1968. But we recently learned that at the dance Mary Ann tried to pick pocket him but (according to Jim) he reached for her hand and they have been holding hands every since. Hmmm could it be true!! This anniversary is also being celebrated by their children, Jimmy (Jamie) and Jennifer, four special grandchildren Savannah, Nicklaus (Taylor), Preston and Chandler and their extra special great-granddaughter, Everely.
