A Proper Farewell
Cheeri-oh my jolly ole chaps
And begging the pardon if you please
I'm going to take a sabbatical
And wanted to thank you for your many words of ease
Yes your calls in being most kind
About the poems I was so glad to do
And I couldn't have been more appreciative
From all the gratitude that came from you
Well done from you respectively
The Queen herself should have called for a knighting
Yes for you... my lovelies indeed
Who have ingraciated yourselves in my writing
