HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY to
JANE (JOHNSTON) NAGEL!
Jane was born November 11, 1924, in McDonald, PA, where her father was a miner, as well as most of the men in her family. She lived in Western Pennsylvaniaall her life and graduated from West View High School in 1944. She went to work for the war efforts at Spang Chalfant until the end of WWII.
She met the love of her life in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Ironically his name was Warren "Dale" Nagel, Sr. Together they had five children. Although Dale died at the age of 42 in 1968 of ALS, Jane continued to raise her children, as a single mom and she never remarried.
She believes her faith and positive outlook on life are what keeps her young. Family, friends and good laughs are her life-force.
She is celebrating her 100th birthday with a party hosted by her children.
