"The Titanic"
So like the ill-fated-ship
That had crashed and sunk
to the bottom
Such was the unfortunate disaster
Of a love affair that was lost
in autumn
You see their leaves had all
withered and fallen
And had turned to a deep
dark brown
And just like the sinking of the ship
They had turned cold, and were bound to go down
And despite all the dedication
and love
That went into its fine creation
It had just reached an
unreachable low
That would define its
inevitable devastation
And not all of the patching
in the world
Could ever put it all back together
For once it had lost its bearings
It would be gone, and submerged forever
You see you cannot raise up a love
That has succumbed to such
an ordeal
For too many parts have
been broken
To ever bring back... what once
was real
