In The Line Of Duty
The K-9 in the line of duty
Has gone to the skies to live
Yes the beloved dog named Rocco
Gave it all that he had to give
For in trying to protect his master
In every single way that he could
He had sustained too many injuries
That any kind of dog ever should
But the compassion of the people
of Pittsburgh
Had kind of made it a little easier
to take
For they had proved beyond the
shadow of a doubt
That Rocco's memory they
would never forsake
My heart goes out to the family
And to all of the officers as well
And by the merciful grace of God
May we never again have to
tell the tale
