During a 2 p.m. Nuptial Mass on October 26, 2013, in Queen of the Rosary Catholic Church in Glassport, Heidi A. Smedley and Corey L. Lemmon were united in marriage by the bride's great uncle, Fr. Ernest J. Strelinski.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Kathleen Smedley of Glassport. The bridegroom is the son of Denise Lemmon and the late Duane Lemmon of New Castle.
Maid of Honor was the bride's sister, Holly Smedley of Astoria, New York. Matron of Honor was the bride's sister, Heather Hunt of Bellevue, PA. Bridesmaids were: Melissa Hickey of Warrington, PA, Leslie Cubellis of Belle Vermon, PA, Elizabeth Halter of San Francisco, CA, and Rachel Adams, cousin of the bride, of Oakland, CA. Junior Bridesmaid was Alyssa Hunt, Godchild and niece of the bride. Flower Girls were Kaylee and Natalie Hunt, nieces of the bride.
Best Man was the groom's brother, Craig Lemmon of New Castle. The Groomsmen were Gregary Argiro, Charles Dando, Russell Hasson, John Vansovich, and Matthew West all of New Castle. The Junior Groomsman was Anthony Lemmon and the Ring Bearer was Chase Lemmon, both nephews of the groom.
A reception was held at the Edgewood Country Club in Churchill. The couple took a two week trip to Australia for their honeymoon. They are residing in Harrison City.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of South Allegheny and a 2005 cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. She is a Project Manager at Philips Respironics in Monroeville. The groom is a 2000 graduate of New Castle High School and a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety and Environmental Management. He is the Environmental, Health and Safety Senior Manager for Philips Respironics in Murrysville.
