RYAN BIGGINS
Ryan Biggins, son of Dr. and Mrs. Dennis Biggins, Moon Township, graduated first in his class from Moon Area High School in June. In addition to achieving Eagle Scout rank, Ryan was a member of the National Honor Society, Gifted Education Program, French and Math Clubs, and Moon Varsity Men's Volleyball Team. In 2013, he received a scholarship from the Society of American Military Engineers Pittsburgh Post to attend NASA's Advanced Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Throughout high school, he served as a math tutor, youth leader for St. Philips Church, volunteer for Sweetwater Center for the Arts, and umpire for Moon Area Parks and Recreation Little League. He will attend Lehigh University in the fall to study chemical engineering and pre-law.
