Richard Capaldi of Aliquippa and Marjorie Welsh of Ambridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Capaldi, to Ira Selig, son of Adrian and the late Larry Selig of Indianapolis, IN.
Christina is a 2002 graduate of Ambridge Area High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Duquesne University, and is completing her graduate degree as a Literary Specialist at Bank Street College of Education, in New York, NY. Christina currently teaches third grade in New York City.
Ira, a native of Indianapolis, IN, earned his bachelor's degree of Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and his master's of business administration at New York University. Ira currently works for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
The couple resides in New York, New York and is planning a summer 2015 wedding in New York City.
