Donald and Kathleen Hackworth of Monroeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin, to Andrew Curran, son of Sue and Dave Schmitt of Monroeville and Richard Curran of Pittsburgh.
Erin is the granddaughter of Donald and Mary Hackworth of the North Hills, and the late Thomas and Ursula Anne Curry of North Huntingdon.
Andrew's grandparents are Judith Culleiton and James Dubbs of Greensburg, the late William Culleiton of Plum, and the late Jeannette and John Curran of the West End.
The future bride is a graduate of Gateway High School, Slippery Rock University, and Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh. Erin works as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Monroeville Pet Hospital. Her fiancé is also a graduate of Gateway High School and then served six years in the United States Navy. Andrew works as a Logistics Associate for MSA in Murrysville.
A September 2015 wedding is planned.
