Nardozzi Meets Shakespeare
I stopped in for a shot and a beer
And there was Shakespeare standing there
Giving thanks and signing autographs
For his book Hamlet that came out that year
And so I approached him at the bar
As he was sipping his gin & tonic
And I said to him most sincerely
I think your writings are super-sonic
He then turned to me and said,
"Who in bloody dickens are you???"
I said I've come from another time
Two thousand fifteen, June twenty-two
He just sighed and staggered to the exit
Then turned around and bold-brackingly said,
"Listen you long-haired-hippie...
for four hundred years... I have been dead"
