LISA NICKEL

TO WED
Mr. Nickolas Palmer, son of Eric and Sandie Palmer of Pittsburgh, and Ms. Lisa Nickel, daughter of Doug and the late Diana Nickel; stepdaughter to Beth Nickel of Shaler, have announced their engagement. The happy couple met while working at Monte Cello's restaurant in North Hills during their high school years, and started dating while in their first year of college.
The groom attended Vincentian Academy in the North Hills, and went on to earn a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from University of Akron. Nickolas is employed as a System Engineer for Cerner Corporation located in Kansas City, Missouri.
The bride-to-be attended Shaler Area High School, received her B.S. in Sports Management from Clarion University, and earned her M.S. in Sports Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. Lisa is employed as a Project Coordinator for the University of Kansas Medical Center.
The couple currently resides in Kansas and an April 2016 wedding is planned here in Pittsburgh.
