Melaine Shannon Rothey and Gretchen Schumacher, of Upper St. Clair, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Aaron David Rothey, to Kristin Marie Vennekotter, daughter of Thomas Vennekotter and the late Karen Vennekotter, of Lima, Ohio. Kristin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Xavier University and will receive her Juris Doctor degree from the Ohio State University School of Law in May 2016. Aaron has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master's degree in English Education from the Ohio State University, with plans to attend law school in the fall of 2016. Aaron currently teaches English at Logan Elm High School in Circleville, Ohio. An October 29, 2016 wedding in Columbus, Ohio is planned.
