Donna and Richard Hildebrand of Wexford, PA are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Molly Hildebrand, to Vivek Freitas. Molly is a graduate of North Allegheny Senior High School. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Gettysburg College, received a master's from Georgetown University and a PhD from Tufts University. This summer Molly will join the faculty of the United States Military Academy, West Point.
Vivek Freitas is the son of Valerie and Sergio Freitas of Goa, India. Vivek graduated from Colby College, received a master's from Tufts University, and will receive his PhD from Tufts next year. He is currently on the faculty at Colby College, Maine.
The couple, who were married in a civil ceremony in July 2015, is thrilled to celebrate with their family and friends over a two-day celebration this Memorial Day weekend. A traditional Catholic ceremony, followed by a brunch, is planned for Saturday; a formal reception at the University Club, Oakland, is planned for Sunday. The couple will reside in the Hudson River Valley of New York.
