Memorial Day Tribute
And so let us give thanks
To those who had perished
And to those who we loved
And always have cherished
And let us give thanks
To those who had battled
To save our great country
So it wouldn't be rattled
And let us give thanks
And visit the sites
Of our loved deceased soldiers
Who gave up their rights
Of a comfortable home
( and all that entails )
To go and meet the opposition
Across the sea of all hells
And let us honor them all
Both far and both wide
For defending our nation
