The Orlando Tragedy
I am saddened & sickened
About last week's occurrence
Yes the unspeakable gay shooting
And its possible deterrence
Of preventing all gays
And lesbians all over
From going any place
And running like a rover
From some half-crazed lunatic
Who's purchased a gun
And has decided that
the gays
Time is now done
But in the name of humanity
And in the name of our Lord
We must stop all this hatred
And put down that swift sword
And care for each other
Whether gay, straight, or bi
And practice not to kill
But to smile and say hi
