Mrs. Jacqueline L. Gates, and the late J. William Gates, Jr., of North Versailles, PA, is extremely pleased to announce the October 1, 2016 engagement of their daughter, Michaelene M. Gates to Cory A. Sechrist, son of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Sechrist of Cana, VA.
Michaelene graduated from East Allegheny High School, attended Allegheny College in Meadville, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University, St. Kitts, West Indies. Michaelene currently practices at Norwin Veterinary Hospital in North Huntingdon.
Cory is a graduate of Mount Airy High School in Mount Airy, NC, attended University of Virginia's College at Wise, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University, St. Kitts, West Indies. Cory currently practices at Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital in Monroeville.
A September 2017 wedding ceremony will be held at Christ Church Fox Chapel in Fox Chapel, PA. Rev. David E. Sechrist, grandfather of the future groom, will be the ceremony officiant.
