AGNES (MASON) and CLARENCE CURRY
50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Agnes and Clarence Curry of Point Breeze renewed their wedding vows at the church where they were married on Nov. 26, 1966, Baptist Temple-Homewood. Rev. Rodney A. Lyde officiated. A second celebration was held in The Newport News, VA "Train Station Restaurant." They met at an Alpha Kappa Alpha party held at The Loendi Club. Clarence retired from the U. of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business and is now a consultant for the Sports and Exhibition Authority. Agnes taught for the Pittsburgh Board of Education and now enjoys church activities, Stoop n' Bend Garden Club, and three book clubs. Clarence and Agnes have two children and their spouses; Clarence III and Dr. Lisa of Williamsburg, VA and their children Jocelyn and Sophia. Candace and Adrian Joyner live in Woodstock, GA with their children; Joshua, Zora, and Caleb. Clarence, Sr., age 96, resides in Hampton, VA. Grandson, Josh is a Freshman at Hampton University. Joshua represents the 6th generation of the Curry family to attend Hampton University.
