AMBER M. MARTIN
Allison Park Resident Graduates from Thiel College
On May 7, 2017, Amber M. Martin graduated from Thiel College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Medical Biology, and Latin.
Amber is the daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara (Stiehler) Martin and sister of Shane Martin, of Allison Park.
Amber graduated in the top 10% of her class, summa cum laude, and was a member of the Thiel College Dietrich Honors Program, Tri-Beta Biology National Honorary Society, and Alpha Chi National Honorary Society. Amber was also awarded the College's Dean's Key for earning Dean's List recognition all eight semesters at Thiel. Amber was also among a few upperclassmen who were given the opportunity to perform a graduate-level research project under the Greenville Neuromodulation Center (GNC) program for Thiel College, which she was able to present at a national conference in San Diego, CA.
Amber will be pursuing masters-level coursework in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD, beginning in the fall of 2017.
