50th Wedding Anniversary

Corky (Stephen) Safko and Louise Greenawald were married on July 15, 1967 at St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, in McKees Rocks. This year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party at Rockefeller's Banquet Room, on July 16th. Nine out of ten members of their bridal party attended the event. One bridesmaid came from Maryland and another bridesmaid came all the way from Montana. Corky and Louise are the proud parents of two boys (Stephen and Michael) and have been blessed with five amazing grandchildren: Jacinda, Suzy, Mikey, Reagan, and Matthew. Over the years they have enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Cancun, Punta Cana, Las Vegas, etc. Corky is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and gardener. Louise enjoys working out in the gym and volunteering at their churchs's pizza kitchen.
