Dick and Judy (Kiggins) Bannon, of Elizabeth Township celebrated their 50th Anniversary September 9, 2017, with a romantic trip to Bedford Springs Resort given by their children. They met as students at Thomas Jefferson High School and began dating senior year, 1963. During a Downtown date to see the movie Cleopatra, Dick asked Judy to go steady. They were married at South Hills Country Club four years later.
In 1968, they welcomed their first child, Sean (spouse, Lacey Horvat), with Kelly (spouse, Michael James) arriving just 13 months later. Jennie was born in 1973. They are the proud grandparents of Amelia Horvat-Bannon and Jack James.
Making memories with family and friends is their greatest pleasure, whether traveling to Cape May for the annual family vacation or simply sitting on the patio and talking for hours. Their tightknit family has flourished thanks to this solid foundation of love, support, and humor.
Dick is a successful chiropractor. Judy is the founder and executive director of Cribs for Kids.
