SCOTTY BILLY
TURNED 90 YEARS OLD
ON DECEMBER 18
Mrs. Scotty Billy and her husband, Rodney H. Rod Billy, who passed on March 3, 2012, were together almost 65 years! Scotty was an executive secretary for many decades at several of Pittsburgh's top corporations - U.S. Steel, PPG, West Penn Power, University of Pittsburgh - both before and after raising their children. She volunteered for many years with the Girl Scouts and at the McKeesport Hospital Gift Shop/Snack Bar. Scotty was an avid league bowler, enjoyed going on many family picnics and vacations, loves to cook and bake, and is a voracious reader. She is a member of AARP, LifeSpan Senior Center in McKeesport, and Order of the Eastern Star, Elizabeth Chapter #418. Scotty was the first in her family from Scotland to be born in the United States - and received her nickname Scotty when she joined her Girl Scout troop at the age of 12 - and it has stuck for 78 years! She has a daughter, Lynn, in Liberty; son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Nancy in Bethel Park; and grandson, Brandon at Penn State, main campus. Scotty celebrated with family at DeLallo's Italian Restaurant South Hills. Your friends and family send love and congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone!
