Don and Cathy McAndrews of Murrysville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katy to Jason Erickson, son of Dean and Kay Erickson of Bonney Lake, Washington.
The bride to be is a 2010 graduate of Chatham University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Katy is a third grade teacher at Palm View Elementary in Bradenton, Florida.
The future bridegroom is a University of Washington graduate, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science. Jason is employed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a pitching coach in minor league player development. The couple resides in Bradenton, Florida.
The couple is planning an October 2016 wedding.
