On Sunday, May 31, 2015, a picture-perfect day, Angelina Nicole Castelli of Upper St. Clair, PA and Edward Cameron Alkema of Aiken, SC were united in marriage at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Nature provided a beautiful backdrop as Pastor Robert Denard officiated the 3:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony held at Meadowoods. A sit-down dinner and reception followed in The Timberstone Room located at the base of the mountain.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Castelli and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Bates, all of Upper St. Clair. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Alkema of Aiken, SC. Shavon Peltier, close friend of the Bride, was the Maid of Honor. The Bride's attendants were Ashlyn Leshin, Ally Alkema and Lauren Alkema, all sisters of the groom, and Jemma Stepp was a delight as the flower girl. In true Southern tradition, the father of the groom served as Best Man. The ushers were Carson Leshin, brother-in-law of the groom, and friends Nathan Chartrand and Kyle Keine. The ring bearer, "Lord of the Ring" was Matthew Yates, godson of the bride.
Angelina and Edward currently reside in Omaha, NE with their cat, Wilson.
