You were kind and considerate
And humble and sweet
And I was so fortunate
The day we did meet
We had some times
And lots of laughs
And I guess that was both
Our better halfs
And so I thank you for
Those wonderful times
And the memory of you
That always shines
The very best I wish
In all that you do
And you were the nicest
