Poem For
L.G.B.T.
To be free is to go about
With no restrictions, guilt, or pain
Especially where love is concerned
And where truth is the name of the game
To be free is a feeling of calm
In just knowing your peers agree
That it is not a sin or a crime
To be part of the L.G.B.T.
To be free is an American right
It's what our history & constitution are made of
And to deny, or prevent, or discourage it
Would be saying it's something we're ashamed of
